The way that he looks into her eyes is perfect; he gazes as if he has fulfillment and enjoyment by just being around her! Alexi and Sara have known each other for a long time, but didn’t know that they knew each other, you know? :) They passed one another in the high-school hallways waving a brief “hi” as they scuffled to classes way back when; they didn’t run with the same crowd so they probably didn’t really know one other’s names. It wasn’t until a friend’s wedding a few years ago that they spotted one another across the reception room and started chatting. They talked…….and talked……and talked the night away and left with a smile on their face. Some phone calls and dates later they have become best friends and are head-over-heals GIDDY about getting married in the spring. And so am I. Their love is inspiring and down right cute!!! :)

So stay tuned folks, this is going to be the biggest, best, most amazing Greek wedding in all of the planet! May honestly couldn’t come sooner! :)

Isn’t Sara just STUNNING?!?!? Her red hair and blue eyes get me every time! :)

I about died when I saw this sun…..we just HAD….JUST HAD to stop and take some last shots before we wrapped things up! :) High fives to fabulous couples like this that are willing to stick around until after dark to get photos like this! :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series! :) :) :)

You meet her and immediately you want to be friends. Her personality is that of a 10 year old and she is as talkative as a teenager, but yet she is only two and a half years old! She will always pick raspberries if you ask and she’ll never turn down a sip of chocolate milk. She is expecting a little baby soon and wants her mommy to name the baby Phyllis if it is a boy or girl! :) She has a HUGE imagination and loves to read!! :) Her name is Nora and she is one of my best little 2 year old friends! :)

Sometimes when your armpit itches you just gotta go for it! :)

I love you Ms. Nora bean! :)

Here is a quick peak at Veronica and Bryan’s engagement session in downtown St. Paul last week. They are fabulous and extremely laid back which I LOOOOVE! :) They are planning the bash of a lifetime at the James J Hill Library and I so so SO can’t wait to be a part of it in October! :) YAY!

Probably 2 of the CUTEST people on the planet right here! If you’ve ever seen Enchanted (ya know, that great Disney movie where the cartoon princess becomes a “real life” princess in New York and falls in love with a handsome New Yorker) well…it has been said, by many people, that Elliott and Kayla should have starred in that movie! Kayla is unbelievably musically talented and Elliott may resemble a handsome prince that sweeps Kayla off her feet everything they are in the same room! :)

And their wedding was nothing short of fabulous! :) They combined their love of drama, theatre and music with their affection towards the outdoors! With an ultra cute white steeple chapel for the ceremony, the Rolling Ridges Girl Scout camp was a perfect backdrop for hugs and dinner with friends and family! And their details. Gosh, were they stunning with every shade of purple! :) Kayla dreamed up the most FANTASTIC dessert table that guests were greeted with as they entered the reception and everyone danced the night away with a smile on their face!

Isn’t this shade of purple just fantastic? ANNNNNDDD I almost stole a pair of the bridesmaid’s ultra cute purple rocket dog flats except none of them wore my size! :) And the guys looked as handsome as ever in their varying shades of brown suits and mis-matched purple ties! :)

Kayla was BEAMING when she came down the isle. I bet if her Dad would have been up for it she could have skipped, ran, or cartwheeled down the isle! She was hands-down SO SO SO excited to marry her best friend! :)

I TOLD YOU the details at the reception were to die for! :)

He sang to her the entire time they danced…..awe.

And HOLY MOLY were the speeches AMAZING at the reception……many of their college friends got up and sang a song from RENT (and gosh, they busted that out in fabulous harmony)…I am pretty sure the entire room was either in tears or their jaw was on the floor. I just LOVE this sequence of Kayla and Elliott being surprised by this little performance! :) Talk about an inspirational group of friends….. :)

This weekend I got stranded at Aaron’s Grandpa’s farm after getting monsooing rains right before an engagement session down near Madison. I headed to Grandpa Marcel’s with my bottle of wine and my PJ’s for the night. It was a relaxing surprise to have night all to myself in the middle of nowhere! :)
