Amy and Brent ARE ENGAGED and I couldn't be happier for them...although this means that we all have to wait until next September to see them tie the knot...but I guess I can pull out some patience! Many moons ago Amy and I played hockey together through our entire middle and high school lives; and I have sooo many early morning hockey practice memories of us skating lines together because she was a goalie and I was a defense-woman which meant we stuck together! :) Fast forward to a few months ago when I almost fell out of my seat with excitement to hear that not only has Amy found the man of her dreams and is getting married but she wants me to shoot the wedding...ME! Isn't that lovely??
Every one is all grown up and MAN are Amy and Brent happy together....you could see it in how she giggles with him and looks into his eyes. They are planning THE most PERFECT Duluth wedding for next September and I can't count the days down fast enough for them! :)
Honestly....SO STINKIN CUTE!!!!
And of course Harley, their puppy, came along for a few.....aren't they just the cutest little family?? :)

I had the ever-most-awesome chance to drive to the BEAUTIFUL city of Wausau, WI to photograph Heather and Jason's vows!!! Not only is the drive through the middle of Wisconsin with rolling hills and blue skies scenic, but the city of Wausau is ULTRA CUTE! For real.....the next anniversary or romantic get-away MUST happen in the downtown are of this charming city for you....even the next girls weekend.....
Enough about Wausau.....Jason and Heather are MFOE (in normal terms that means MADE FOR EACH OTHER)! They are currently living in DC and you can tell that this is where they both are the thriving, SMART, lovely and IN LOVE couple! Honestly, they are cute and so passionate when they look into each other's eyes. Topped off with a fabulous wedding party the day couldn't have gotten better because we had the BEST time!
Heather's dress came all the way from DC (where they are currently living...although slight troubles in the airport...) but isn't it GORGEOUS??? I *loved* the extra puffyness of fabric that came out the bottom beyond the satin....
When I caught up with Jason he was finishing up writing his sincerest words about his appreciation for his childhood and parents in a little book that he gave to his them during the ceremony....made me cry when I found out what he was doing! :)
Heather's eyes couldn't have been more blue and CAPTIVATING....hot momma!!!!
One of my MOST FAVORITE parts about getting to shoot a wedding with an assistant are these little moments that I am not able to see....when I am down the isle shooting the processional, Katie is capturing moments like this......

I *LOVED* that the wedding party wanted to walk through the downtown area to the reception spot only a few blocks away! :)
The reception was held at The Jefferson Street Inn which was so charming and cute! The ballroom was decorated beautifully in a beach-ish theme because Jason and Heather are planning to move to Flordia after their wedding festivities end! Talk about a transition.......
I just *adore* this photo of Heather and her Dad dancing as she fights back tears!

Jason and Heather you guys are fabulous!!! It was such a treat to be able to travel to Wausau (and all of it's charm) to share in your special day. I wish you all the best as you start your new life on the beaches of Flordia....make sure to catch all the rays that you can!!!

I had a lovely afternoon bouncing around town and laughing with Ms. Courtney while we took some photos for her senior year. She will be graduating from Amery senior high school and already has HUGE plans for college next year! Courtney has a contagious smile, a SUPER outgoing personality and and has some ROCK STAR eyes......which makes her oh-so fun to photograph!!!

Tara is a STUNNINGLY beautiful girl that is about to enter her senior year at North St. Paul High School. She is wickedly talented playing tennis and softball AND is hoping to either get a scholarship or at least play hockey in college...this girl is amazing! She was extremely easy to photograph because not only are her eyes stunning but her personality was so easy going and very easy to make laugh!
Tara you are one AMAZING young lady and I wish you all the luck for your senior year and MANY GOALS this hockey season! :)

So call me a bad blogger or a crazy woman or something because this session was shot ohhhhh--waayy earlier this summer! OOPS! Katie, my lovely model, was kind enough to entertain any ideas I threw her way on our lovely afternoon driving all over the world to get the *best* locations! She was cute, she was gigglie and we had a blast....I couldn't have asked for a better afternoon!!!

I couldn't be more pleased to share this blog post with you because I feel like I am announcing one of my own family members into the world. Baby Carter is the new little bundle of joy for one of my most amazing friends Maria and her husband Brent! He was born a few weeks ago and I was able to snap a few of him at only FIVE DAYS OLD! He is teensie, perfect and looovees to cuddle up into a little bundle. I simply couldn't stop smiling when I was there taking photos of him! :)
This one is MY FAVE because he got balled up sooo tight and was just lying there sleeping....I already LOVE him so much (although not as much as Mommy and Daddy)! :)
And can we talk about how stinkin cute his CHEEK FAT is? awwweeeeee....
And OF COURSE with the mad knitting skills that Maria has she had to put some kitted booties on him for a few shots.....I just know the next session we have I am going to show up and Maria is going to have 97 knitted outfits for us to choose from!!!! :)
I am just so so so excited for your new little addition Maria and Brent. Carter couldn't be more perfect and I soooo can't wait for him to grow up so we can run around together!!!
