Over the past few years I have become quite fond of the Franta family and their 3 adorable kids! Wendy, Nick and the 3 kiddos have the kind of family that I *dream* to have someday---they admire their kids, they laugh with their kids, go on adventures with their kids and they oh-so-much LOOOVE their kids!
To say that I can believe that it has been a year since I got the wonderful news announcing the birth of their youngest little tike, Buchanon, would be a lie! Time sure flies (and I am not even a parent yet! HA!) Buchanon is an amazing little boy with fat rolls everywhere, a smile that can capture anyone from across the room and 2 olders siblings that *ADORE* him!
I absolutely *LOVE* (with a captial "L") the outfits that Wendy has for the kids everytime I arrive. Doesn't Buchanon look like the next CEO of some giant firm in the cities??? Someday when his photo is hanging high in a gold frame above a marble fireplace in a big-shot office, I will send him a framed photo of this to put next to it! :)

Our morning together sure tuckered the little guy out because he was zonked when we were done!
I don't know what I am going to do without being able to stop at the Franta's house every 3 months now since Buchanon is already a whole YEAR OLD! I guess that means you guys are going to have to have another baby!!! (WINK WINK) :)

How much do I *adore* the Hines family??? Well...A LOT!!!!! They are one of the most spunky, fun, radically great familes ever!
Bre, who will be 5 in September, tells the funnies jokes (all involving buggars in case you are wondering), loves to wear pink, calls her Daddy "baby butt" (which I think is just HILARIOUS) and has the prettiest little almost-5-year-old-smile!! We had a great time wondering around through the tall grassy field....

Bre decided that it was her turn to take some photos of Mommy and Daddy----TAAA DAAA!! What a great portrait! :) (she was pretty thrilled with the result!)

Time sure flies because this little baby is already 6 MONTHS OLD! It seemed like I just met her for the first time and now she is sitting up, goo-ing, smiling and LOVING every second of being outside. I can totally see her being the little princess fairy running after butterflies once she can walk! :)
And does she just look the cutest in this little pink tutu???
Her eyes are this beautiful shade of brownish-hazel that are big, bold and beautiful!
Shelby, I wish you many days of playing in the grass and coo-ing at your Mommy this summer. I can't wait to see you this fall!!! :)

Dawn and Dave are married!!!
They tied the knot at the beautiful Stonebrook Golf Club on a bright, sunny, very windy early summer day! And when I say windy....I mean BLUSTERY and wiiinnddddy! But that didn't stop the celebration of love for these two from their intimate gathering of family and friends. Dawn and Dave met and blossomed their romance while both working for Best Buy. They fell in love and the rest is history!
Their day was stunning with intimate touches throughout. Guests stood and watched the ceremony from the balcony while family members had a closer look from the chairs set up nearer to the couple! It was magnificent day and Dawn looked absolutely radient! All the details were beautiful and everyone was incredibly eager to share in the excitement with the two love birds!

Dawn's Dad, Charlie, was the cutest ever. You can tell that both Dawn and her Dad have a very sweet and real relationship with one another; he was glowing all day just watching his girl!
Did I mention that it was windy??
If you'll notice in the photo above the 2 collums on either side of Dawn and Dave are being wonderfully displayed. But if you'll look close at the photo below both sets of flowers are ON THE GROUND! In the matter of a split second both sets were toppled over from the gusts.....
But it didn't stop anyone, especially Dawn, from sharing her I do's with the man she loves!!! And she even "popped her foot" during their first kiss.....everyone cracked up!
Dave *loves* to golf and *loves* this course so we headed out to a few holes to get some Dawn + Dave time. The course is amazing and we ended up snapping tons because it was so beautiful!
But it didn't stop anyone, especially Dawn, from sharing her I do's with the man she loves!!! And she even "popped her foot" during their first kiss.....everyone cracked up!

We headed back to their party while the guests eagerly awaited their arrival. The room was filled with laughing, joking, catching up with old friends and MUCH ooow-ing and awee-ing at the newlyweds!!

At two weeks old you can already tell that Charlie is going to be a handsome little guy. I caught a glimpse of his his little dimples when he smiled at Mommy a few times and his dark eyes are enough to make anyone want to cuddle with him for hours. I am sure fond of him! :)

I would argue that Maria's baby bump is *the cutest* growing thing on this side of the St. Croix river...although I might be biased. Maria is one of my dear dear friends that has made me laugh, been my walking partner, inspired me to knit, given me a snot rag when I cry too much and always always *always* been there for me through my life's roller coaster.
Maria is one of those people you meet in life and never ever want to let go of....I KNOW that my life has more smiles because she is a large part of it. She is due in July and couldn't be happier for Brent and Maria to welcome this new little bundle into the world......
Maria, I hope that you don't hate me for publically sharing this next photo but it CRACKS ME UP SOOOO MUCH! From the *most* hilarious expression on her face, you can (a) tell how much she feels like the baby needs to come out soon and (b) get some sense of just how funny Maria can be! This was one of those *slpit second* shots that I had to snap and save!! :)
