My name is Emily.

I love people in love.

I cry at every wedding.

I own a striped umbrella. Everyone should.

I love my pug. His name is Edward.

I dream of having a house with enough closet hooks for my scarves and hats.

Laughing is great.

I believe there is nothing better than a day with the people you love.

And I absolutely love to take photos.

And this is my blog. Expect to see people in love, expect to laugh and read, and expect to see what I love and why I love it! Welcome to my blog. I am glad you are here.

Yesterday I was shown by two lovely ladies who are very well versed in princess-properness how to dance like a princess; and they even included a princess fashion show. Mia told me that we must have "fancy" music to dance to and she and Kayla were going to teach me everything that is necessary for princess dancing. I sure was amazed by how many "moves" there are.

Kayla's move quite often went like this (as she called it a pwweee-aaaaaa...I think that mean plie, pronounced plee-ayah). I think this move contains 3 parts: the crouch down, the hands in the air and the one arm flail out to the side.

And Mia loved to spin and spin and spin. I think she just liked to see her dress poof out to the sides.

The dancing was soon followed by the fashion show so that they could show me and their baby sister their princess attire. We saw everything from pink and blue boas to purple high heels and ballet shoes, and glittery crowns, butterfly wings, dazzling bracelets, fluffy tu-tus and even Mia's favorite gold sparkly dress (which you see in many pictures). I think these outfits may show up in Princess Weekly soon---just you wait :)

And then things just got silly...
princess.jpgThe rest of the day consisted of cookie baking and a tea party with all of the stuffed dogs in the house. It was a fun day and the best part is that I get to go back next week and take pictures of their baby sister because she is already 6 months old! So, stay tuned for more princesses from the Evan's house next week...

Today I opened up "Kristine's Restaurant" for dinner - Benj and Cate ate the gourmet meals of hot dogs and mandarin oranges. They got to use a glowing pen to call me, their waitress, when they needed something. BOY did that go awry too quickly. But, alas, no princess fashion shows here yet.

Oh and by the way, great images, sister!
