Coffee with cream, chocolate and wine and conversations with good friends was my weekend (as I happily say with a smile on my face)...all in the name of knitting of course. Our knitting club, the knitch, went up north on probably what was *the best* weekend of this fall to relax, rejuvenate and have some much-needed girl time. And that is precisely what we did....
The Pond View Lodge was our destination and it was (simply put) filled with perfection the ENTIRE weekend! The owners of the lodge, the Paulsens, do a magnificent job at creating a comfy-cozy, rest-easy environment that we didn't want to leave. They are located up north in Fredrick, WI and *MAN* is it gorgeous....they have restored an old 1940's barn into a getaway with a gigantic (fully stocked) kitchen, beautiful rest-friendly bedrooms, luxurious bathrooms and a perfect relaxing great room! We rested, we relaxed, we knitted and we LOVED it.....

...And rest we did! Pond View Lodge is amazing and we loved every second of our trip. If it weren't for the KNITCH girls my life would be boring. :) I LOVE YOU ALL...
